Team Henry

Henry is a happy, loving toddler diagnosed with Neurtropenia. His parents Nate and Mariel are committed to doing all that they can to strengthen the neutropenia community and help to further research. The Ella Jewell Foundation and The Long Race 4 Tate are very excited to welcome " Team Henry". On November 3, 2012 Team Henry ran the Indianapolis Monumental 5K. Team Henry raised $6,920 dollars, donating half of their funds raised to the Severe Chronic Neutropenia International Registry and half to the National Neutropenia Network. Go Team Henry!

Harvest a cure for Neutropenia!

Kara is 7 years old and diagnosed with Neutropenia. In October 2012 the Loader family grew and sold pumpkins raising funds for the Ella Jewell Foundation. Kara and her sister Katie are committed to do all that they can to make a difference and help move research towards a cure. "Harvest a cure for Neutropenia" was a huge success and raised over $1,800 dollars for research. Congratulations Loader Family!

Runyon 5K at Yankee Stadium 2012

TEAM ELLA JEWELL raises $13,247 dollars for research being conducted by Dr. David C. Dale at The University of Washington’s, Severe Chronic Neutropenia International Registry. The Ella Jewell Foundation followed the lead of the Long Race 4 Tate and on August 12, 2012 ran a 5K at Yankee Stadium. We formed an AMAZING Team and our family and friends sponsored our Team. Thank you to everyone for your support. It was awesome running on the field at the stadium. Overall, it was an inspirational, hopeful, happy day. And, we look forward to racing again in 2013. We would love for you to join our team. Moving towards a cure!!! The Race 4 Tate

In 2011 the Long Family joined forces with the Ella Jewell Foundation. Tate Long is diagnosed with Neutropenia, he is 2 years old. Tate's family started the Long Race 4 Tate. This ia a great concept and we encourge everyone to join our fundraising efforts by running a race and starting a Team. Ella's and Tate's family have formed a great friendship and are now working together to raise funds for Neutropenia Research. Join the race and make a difference, not only for Tate and Ella but for all children affected by Neutropenia. Thank you!!! www.longrace4tate.com.

Mia's Birthday Wish!!!!

Thank you to Mia's family and friends. Over $1,000 was donated in honor of Mia's 5th Birthday towards Neutropenia Research being conducted at The University Of Washington, Seattle, WA.

Wine Tasting Event - October 21st, 2011

EJF 2011 event was a huge success and raised over $23,000 dollars to be donated towards Neutropenia research coducted by leading researcher Dr. David Dale at the University of Washington in Seattle. 2010 Ella Jewell Gala

The Ella Jewell Foundation 2010 Dinner Gala raises $30,000 for Neutropenia Research. It was an honor to have Dr. Lawrence Boxer and Dr. David Dale, both leading doctors in the area of Neutropenia, attend the gala. The evening was an amazing success with close to 300 guests in attendance. Thank you for your support!
